Junior React Developer (2-Year Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior React Developer for a defined 2-year contract to support the development and scaling of our core web platform. You will join a dedicated project team focused on delivering high-quality, scalable frontend solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with 0-2 years of experience to see a project through its full lifecycle—from initial feature development to long-term maintenance. As a contractor, you will be expected to be self-motivated, meet project milestones, and maintain high coding standards throughout the duration of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new user-facing features using React.js according to the 2-year project roadmap.
• Provide ongoing support and updates for existing modules to ensure long-term stability.
• Assist in managing complex application states using Redux, Context API, or similar libraries.
• Maintain clear documentation of code and components to ensure seamless handovers or future scaling.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern CSS (Tailwind/SASS).
• Ability to commit to the full 2-year contract duration.
• Practical experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to learn new libraries or tools as the project requirements evolve over the next 24 months.
